Why English Crazy Scholarship?

We are a group of university students, called 'English Crazy Club', which runs English camps for students in rural areas of the northeast of Thailand and teaching project for volunteers around the world. We knew a girl, called Suki or Tou, from an English camp who helped out at the Greenway workcamp in her small village of Ban Nakhor in Si Muang Mai of Ubon Ratchathani Province for 4 years. She is nice, helpful and caring person and she speaks good English. Now she is finishing high school in March and she is applying for a university. But the problem is that her parents cannot afford her to study in the university. So we got an idea to do the fundraising for her. We think that it is worth to help her, since she has potential to study at the university. In June, she will be expecting to studying at Ratchaburi Ratchabhat University in Ratchaburi Province in central region of Thailand. Unfortunately, she can only get the government loan to support her tuition fee, but not monthly expense. Because now Thai government is in political crisis. She said she will work in school vacation to earn money to support her monthly expense by working for Greenway and maybe working in Bangkok. But we think she can only get 5,000 Bath per month (not including her daily expenses while working there) and school vacation lasts only a few month - plus her job possibility is not stable. It takes four years to finish a university and one year has two semesters. We are not asking you to support her for 4 whole years, but please help her at the very first start when you can. What we are thinking is can you and we fundraise 15,000-20,000 Baht per semester for her. Would that be possible?
